UNICEF Jordan launches an appeal campaign to children most in need, including Syrian refugees

With the harsh winter weather approaching, UNICEF launched a US $ 6 million winter appeal for children to reduce the dreadful effects of winter on vulnerable families in Jordan, knowing that the coping mechanisms for families have been exhausted by the Covid-19 pandemic.
The appeal will target more than 64,000 children who are in dire need of assistance, including Syrian refugees, as they will be provided with clothing packages that protect them from the winter cold, in addition to cash assistance to support families during the cold winter months.اليونيسف في الأردن تطلق حملة مناشدة للأطفال ممن هم في أمس الحاجة للمساعدة، بمن في ذلك اللاجئون السوريون

مع اقتراب الظروف الجوية القاسية لفصل الشتاء، أطلقت اليونيسف حملة مناشدة للأطفال في فصل الشتاء بقيمة 6 ملايين دولار أمريكي وذلك للحد من الآثار المروعة لفصل الشتاء على الأسر الضعيفة في الأردن، علما أن آليات التأقلم للأسر قد أنُهكت جراء جائحة كوفيد-19.
سوف تستهدف المناشدة أكثر من 64,000 طفل من الأطفال ممن هم في أمس الحاجة للمساعدة، بمن في ذلك اللاجئون السوريون، حيث سيتم تزويدهم برزم الملابس التي تقيهم من برد الشتاء، بالإضافة إلى المساعدات النقدية لدعم الأسر خلال أشهر الشتاء الباردة.
